Job description

Role & responsibilities

Level 1 Engineer Roles and Responsibility.

  • Provide Software, Hardware, Network Support and Operating System support

  • Address user tickets regarding hardware, software and networking installing applications and computer peripherals

  • Basic Networking, peer to peer, Map drive, Data sharing

  • Install and configure Windows and Linux desktop and peripherals and test network connections.

  • Handle daily technical support activities on desktops & laptops, networking and server log monitoring.

  • Basic troubleshooting in printer and scanner.

  • Good knowledge in MS office 2019, office 365, and Open office.

  • Install and regular updates on system applications and browsers.

  • Ensure proper functioning of L2 switch and WIFI Access points.

  • Develop and manage effective professional working relationships with co-workers and clients.

  • This support level receives inbound requests through channels like On Call phone, Web forms, email, Teams Chat, or any other means based on a documented process.

Level 2 Engineer Roles and Responsibility

  • Excellent knowledge with Windows and Linux Environments.

  • Managing regular Backups of Mails.

  • Managing of cloud Meeting Backup (on request).

  • Investigate and resolve Technical related issue.

  • Perform Root cause analysis of the problem.

  • Addressing user tickets in order to resolve a issue.

  • Maintain and keep track of record by log and service reports .

  • Monitoring the networking devices, configuration, testing and troubleshooting.

  • Provide technical assistance to their end-user via Phone call, Chat or in-person to the issue.

  • Track and maintain reports on issues and cases for specific products.

  • Co-ordinate with internet service provider to resolve a leased internet related issues in place.

  • Escalate unresolved problems to the next level support personnel.
